You ROCK!Kelsey is Tara’s best friend… Chatting with Kelsey’s Mom was fun. She had this idea to bring an old dresser out to the meadow with their horses. I LOVED IT! The dresser is a family heirloom and very meaningful to her. Sessions with sentimental items or places, have become something I adore capturing! I won’t […]

WOW. that’s pretty much all that i can say… amazingness. love the light, the colors and that sequin dress. love. These are spectacular!!! I just love them. I’m a sucker for horses but these are so unique, beautiful and cool. I don’t know how her mom and her can possibly narrow it down; I would want them ALL!
On a side note, Arden: when you backlight — are using a fill flash or reflector to get the light on her face on a shoot like this — or are you doing that in pp? Thanks!October 11, 2011 – 11:41 am
Oh my goodness! This is the most gorgeous shoot!! I just love the pictures with the horses!
Your right about the light… absolutely perfect!!!October 11, 2011 – 11:25 am

Arden, THANK YOU for this surprise blog about our baby boy! (Yes I am still calling him a baby!) I love how you captured the personalities of each of them. I love how they have and love each other! Parxy is next!October 8, 2011 – 7:59 am
Congratulations to all of you! 🙂 As an adoptive mom of 10, adoption is close to my heart. I always feel a little squeal of excitement when I read another family’s story of adoption. 🙂 Beautiful photos! My youngest has dark eyes like that and I LOVE getting shots of them. 🙂October 7, 2011 – 2:30 pm
Love this post Arden. Beautiful kids and such a sweet loving bond those two will have as they get older! Cousin besties!I met these three lovely ladies years ago, as they lived next door to my folks for a few years. Back when the girls were LITTLE. I mean, riding with training wheels and elementary school “little.” It’s such an honor to be chosen to capture a beautiful family along with [my favorite] senior portraits. These […]

Stunningly beautiful ladies!!!October 6, 2011 – 1:07 pm
I will say that for this particular session the most narrow aperture I shot at was 2.8! 🙂 Not that I recommend shooting groups that wide, but they were all in nearly the same depth of field. 🙂 thanks so much!October 6, 2011 – 1:04 pm
Love this entire post, Arden! All three of them are beautiful and I love all of the colors and tones of these images. Do you mind me asking what aperature you usually choose when photographing a family of 3, 4 or more to make sure they are all in sharp focus?October 11, 2011 – 10:48 am
