When my friend Cliff asked if I wanted to be a part of “Fort Worth Sings for Haiti,” I was so pumped! This concert was put on to raise money for the Haitian earthquake and devastation… for the victims, for the families who are still homeless and injured, for those who are STILL in need. […]

I posted this at the end of my last photo post, but would really like more feedback. My question is regarding whether or not I should put slideshows in my posts. I think it is a sweet way to view photos, but I also know when I go to other blogs I sometimes don’t have […]
Our Easter weekend was a little hectic (leading up to as well). We have done a lot more socializing and I have been working (shooting/editing) a lot as well. Saturday night rolls around and we had still not decorated the eggs I boiled on Friday (thinking I was going to get things done early). After […]

What is inspiration? For me – it’s the beauty of sunlight, a blooming flower, a babe’s smile, the wet pavement after a summer rain (can you smell it?), walking down a road, freshly bleached clothing, the sound of the dishwasher, a crisp bright morning, deep meaningful eyes, a hot cup of coffee, belly laughter, windows […]

This may sound ‘cheezy’ but YOU & your work inspires me. Your passion and your energy. Feeling the power that comes from focusing on what excites you. I wish you the best in your wonderful journey xoxThe small things in life inspire me. The way that light glistens off a spider web. A flower, hanging low with morning dew. Mirror smooth water creating an illusion of an endless Texas sky. The purple velvet of an Iris, unequal by the creations of man.
I have always admired life in small pictures, it wasn’t until I became a special education teacher that my appreciation for it deepened.
Check out my photo blog, I would love to hear your comments.March 11, 2010 – 9:49 pm

I LOVE love love this post Arden!! It’s such a blessing to be alive in this time. I had a pretty crummy shift last night, and I walked out of the hospital at 6am just as the sun was about to rise. As I walking to the parking lot, I was just STRUCK by these beautiful flowering trees by the lot. I felt so happy in that moment to see them. I whipped out my iphone to take a pic, and a gentleman walked by, and said “The Bradford pears are out! Enjoy them now because they will only last a week”. So funny, that I first about “Bradford pears” twice in one day! Have a great weekend!
