Thank you so much for this Arden! I have been experimenting with higher SS and ISOs, this post has given me the extra bit of confidence I need :]September 9, 2011 – 9:07 am
Thank you so much for this post! I am so hungry to learn and it helps to have someone spell it all out. I listened to the interview you posted and heard what you said about getting a mentor. I so wish that I had that, but for now, I can only be taught online by other photogs willing to post tutorials. So thank you for taking the time to help!September 8, 2011 – 7:38 pm
Thank you Arden. You are a wonderful teacher!holy WOW! I just checked out the noiseware software you suggested – umm, I might have to get that cause it’s INSANE!! (I hate noise, kinda with a passion). I think I might be more comfortable with shooting in higher ISOs (I have a good camera for ISO, but I’m so afraid of it that I don’t even want to bump it higher than 500 even though I know it can handle way more)
Thanks for sharing all your fun tips and tricks! Love it!September 8, 2011 – 3:54 pm

Some people may think it’s crazy for a 5×7 to be $25, honestly it’s the norm (*if not below) for a ‘professional photographer.’ I am not writing this to […]

Love this idea!! I am learning photography and just did my son’s engagement pics. I think I am going to make a book like this for their wedding. 🙂February 23, 2011 – 9:58 am
That’s a really cute idea! I am all about original guest book and reception book ideas…as you know our’s was definitely not the norm. So much better and functional than a “Hallmark” guestbook ya know? Great book…looks fantastic!!!February 23, 2011 – 9:56 am
