Arden Prucha Photography bio picture
  • HI! I am Arden Prucha Jenkins - a photographer located in Fort Worth, Texas! I specialize in portraiture and more recently weddings! Please take a look around and get to know my work, my style, my life, and me.

How did I get into photography? Well, everyone has their story right? Looking back I realize that the little photog was in me all along, without even knowing it! I picked up a camera when I was around 8 and started snapping photos - I even posed my neighbors, animals, and Barbies for photos (seriously I made a Barbie wedding and photographed the entire thing).

Who am I? Well, I was a teacher for three years, but was able to leave that job to focus on photography and my two beautiful children!  I married a man who I am totally smitten over and he is crazy supportive of me.  I am a bargain shopper with expensive taste.  God allows me to trust this world with less fear and more hope and trust.  Music makes my heart flutter - so thankfully I married a very talented musician. I wish I could carry a tune, but unfortunately I cannot. My favorite month is October (dreamy light) and I miss my convertible - oh the beautiful wind .  When I was little I was amazingly or perhaps annoyingly hyper - and ate more food than all of the boys and was faster than most of them too.  I was a dancer and I love to write and converse.  When I am around people I get more energy and become alive. The differences between women and men intrigue me and kiddos make my heart melt. Photos... well, they fill my heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy what you see.

If you know Ann, you love her.

What a sweet, kind, funny and easy going southern bell she is.

I say that because I love her precious little Texas accent. 🙂

They had a very intimate and ceremony followed by a lovely dinner at a local Country Club.

It is always nice to be a part of smaller weddings, you really feel like you are part of the family.

I am so very happy for you and Brett… y’all are gorgeous, generous, loving and wonderful together.

Baby Seth

Sweet Baby Seth.

We met Seth’s parents when their home burned down a couple of years ago. 🙁

Paul works for a custom home builder and they hired his company to rebuild their home.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE them and are so thankful we have become friends.

This family is fun, they truly enjoy the spirit of life, LOVE NEW ORLEANS TOO, host so many fun get togethers, and they are so kind, gracious and faithful.

What a blessing R&P truly are to us and to so many of their friends.

We got a text from them when we were in Mexico to attend a last minute super bowl party…

Well, Mamas – if you want to go into labor… just invite a lot of friends over for a fun time.

Baby will surely decide to come then!   and HE DID!!!

I was so excited to capture their beautiful new son just after we arrived back… they waited to find out what they were having; like we are.

She said it was so special having that surprise on the birth day, I cannot wait!

Enjoy this precious boy and his very cool room!

Thanks R and P for letting me photograph your perfect son.

See, very cool room… complete with Picasso!Oh his lips, so beautiful and big.Sweet baby parts:Snagged a tiny smile 🙂Many blessings sweet Seth and may God protect and guide you through life.

Merissa wow great job Arden!!

He is such a cutie!! Congrats new parents!!March 24, 2011 – 10:50 am

PierSON is great…

Last night I attended Pierson’s FIRST baseball game!

I was excited, but had heard from his Dad and P-Dad that he was struggling.

You see, none of us have focused on sports with him.

I feel bad, because that is what you are ‘supposed’ to do with boys.

Some of these dudes came out swinging like little men – little all stars!

They had the base bat tap down, the practice swings, the gaurding of the bases and head switches to watch the players on base.

It was like I was at a mini-me Ranger Game.

I was amazed, I mean they are 7 and 8 years old!

My little boy, well – not so much.

When the jet flew over the field, of course – he looked up – more curious about it than the flying balls he should be TRYING to catch.

It broke my heart when we found out he would be ‘catcher.’

He was clueless and covered in massive protective equipment.

I think deep down we all felt ‘bad’ and sad for the little dude.

He stood behind the batters with his arms folded and didn’t even know he was supposed to cover home plate for potential outs.

HE DID get a base hit and finally made it home with the help of his teammates. YAY!!!

The best part however, is that Pierson had no idea that he wasn’t ‘GREAT.’

He is super confident, very happy and loves being out there.

So that makes me happy.

We will be practicing A LOT – I mean he doesn’t even know the point of the game – the real dynamics of baseball.

To NO FAULT of HIS OWN.  We shall teach him, guide him, help him and watch him grow.

Our son is definitely the ‘engineer’ type – concerned with anything that has to do with numbers.

He is also artistic and musical.  He one day MAY or MAY NOT be an amazing sportsman.  We shall see.

But… for now, I am proud of his spirit, love and charisma.

Not to mention, his extremely bright little brain and compassionate soul.

This dude is a really really smart kid, which surpasses any athleticism in my eyes. 🙂

(also he is pretty easy on the eyes…)

There is his REAL smile, he was laughing at Parx.

She was inside, knocking on the door to be let out.

linda jenkins Awesome Pierson is a handsome champ and looks as confident and happy as ever, proudly wearing his new bball team uniform. Who knows – he has only just begun. Wishing you a very good season P!March 27, 2011 – 10:55 am

Elisabeth Carol How precious!! He is so adorable!March 24, 2011 – 10:55 am

Julie He is so adorable! If you are ever in a parking lot or other area where there is groups of people and you hear an airplane fly by, look at the men. I have noticed all of them with their mouths open and heads straight up in the air. The wemon don’t even notice and keep doing their business. My daughter and I laugh every time.I don’ think men ever really grow up. It is nice to see the little boy in them once in a while.March 23, 2011 – 4:33 pm

Merissa He is just cute as ever! Looks just like you…. Who cares if he isn’t great at it… Atleast he’s confident and passionate. He seems to be an amazing kiddo! You are truly blessed =)March 23, 2011 – 3:54 pm

Kimberly Horne I LOVE his REAL smile! So precious! He’ll get it, or he won’t. 🙂 Sports aren’t for everyone. Maybe he’ll be a rock star like his P dad. 🙂March 23, 2011 – 11:44 am

Heather He is so stinkin’ cute! He is rockin’ that uniform! What a lucky mama!March 23, 2011 – 11:06 am
