Arden Prucha Photography bio picture
  • HI! I am Arden Prucha Jenkins - a photographer located in Fort Worth, Texas! I specialize in portraiture and more recently weddings! Please take a look around and get to know my work, my style, my life, and me.

How did I get into photography? Well, everyone has their story right? Looking back I realize that the little photog was in me all along, without even knowing it! I picked up a camera when I was around 8 and started snapping photos - I even posed my neighbors, animals, and Barbies for photos (seriously I made a Barbie wedding and photographed the entire thing).

Who am I? Well, I was a teacher for three years, but was able to leave that job to focus on photography and my two beautiful children!  I married a man who I am totally smitten over and he is crazy supportive of me.  I am a bargain shopper with expensive taste.  God allows me to trust this world with less fear and more hope and trust.  Music makes my heart flutter - so thankfully I married a very talented musician. I wish I could carry a tune, but unfortunately I cannot. My favorite month is October (dreamy light) and I miss my convertible - oh the beautiful wind .  When I was little I was amazingly or perhaps annoyingly hyper - and ate more food than all of the boys and was faster than most of them too.  I was a dancer and I love to write and converse.  When I am around people I get more energy and become alive. The differences between women and men intrigue me and kiddos make my heart melt. Photos... well, they fill my heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy what you see.

Canvas Goodness

Finally starting to decorate our home with my artwork 🙂

Feels great to see my photos on the wall.  So far I love them!

Canvases are a great way to display photos in your home without looking like a ‘photo.’

It truly looks like a piece of art – wait it IS a piece of ART.

They are very durable and really stunning.

A sweet surprise…

Last week my husband surprised me with this sweet treat.

Nothing Bundt Cakes opened up recently and Paul was visiting the bank so he popped in to check them out.

Well, he brought me a couple of spectacular little cakes.

My ‘model’ was Miss Red Velvet and boy is she perfect and delicious and extremely photo-worthy.

You can see how moist it is just by looking at these photos.

Oh I love these perfect little cakes!

I am so glad Paul stopped by this store to grab his HUNGRY wife some adorable and delightful cakes.

My sweet and thoughtful husband. 🙂

.love.

Last moments before being happily devoured.

Hola…

The words of the many people we cam across each day at Azul Sensatori: Hola, Buenas Dias, Buenas Tardes, Que Tal… y mas!

We had a fantastic time.  The wedding was gorgeous, the couple was kind, gracious, and stunning and the guests treated us like family and friends.

The staff and hotel was amazing and we really enjoyed our ‘workation.’  I am happy to be o back with my babes, but miss the pampering, constant food, and gorgeous scenery.

We also loved the modern twist at the cool hotel – the colors were white, turquoise and brown – um YEAH!!!  We love modern, it was definitely cool and I highly recommend it.

Back to work, it is… I am thrilled to have a job that allows me to do what you see below!

Bride and Groom, ‘they do.’and then P and ME – on the gorgeous hotel grounds:

I heart BIRDS!

Pam D Love it! Can’t think of much cooler than being the main shooter at a place like that. That first pic is smokin’ hot… wow! And you and your man look right at home in all of that lush beauty. Can’t wait to see all of the pics!February 8, 2011 – 2:49 pm

Adios…

We are headed to Playa for a lovely beach wedding!

So excited to leave the icy, frigid, and cabin fever that Fort Worth brings.

I will be unable to answer any emails, phone calls, etc. until Tuesday of next week.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

I am posting some vids of my kids… (feel free not to bore yourselves, but I love these.  Most are of Parxy)

This one is how we told my family (and Pierson) that we were expecting: (may need earplugs)

P’s Piano Skills:

Parx… and her many skills:  Dancing, talking, walking, blanky lovin’, etc.

I love my kids, I’ll miss you two!  Sooooo much 🙁

Paul likes to put our kids on cabinets.

*He likes to put Pete up there too!

Amanda Marie Okay… didn’t expect this – but the first video made me cry! I’m such a sap… what a fun way to tell your family!!February 8, 2011 – 1:46 pm
