Arden Prucha Photography bio picture
  • HI! I am Arden Prucha Jenkins - a photographer located in Fort Worth, Texas! I specialize in portraiture and more recently weddings! Please take a look around and get to know my work, my style, my life, and me.

How did I get into photography? Well, everyone has their story right? Looking back I realize that the little photog was in me all along, without even knowing it! I picked up a camera when I was around 8 and started snapping photos - I even posed my neighbors, animals, and Barbies for photos (seriously I made a Barbie wedding and photographed the entire thing).

Who am I? Well, I was a teacher for three years, but was able to leave that job to focus on photography and my two beautiful children!  I married a man who I am totally smitten over and he is crazy supportive of me.  I am a bargain shopper with expensive taste.  God allows me to trust this world with less fear and more hope and trust.  Music makes my heart flutter - so thankfully I married a very talented musician. I wish I could carry a tune, but unfortunately I cannot. My favorite month is October (dreamy light) and I miss my convertible - oh the beautiful wind .  When I was little I was amazingly or perhaps annoyingly hyper - and ate more food than all of the boys and was faster than most of them too.  I was a dancer and I love to write and converse.  When I am around people I get more energy and become alive. The differences between women and men intrigue me and kiddos make my heart melt. Photos... well, they fill my heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy what you see.

B Family: Peek

This session was really neat.

I had never captured clients at the zoo.

This is a very special place to them and second home!

The leaves and trees really show that it is Autumn… which doesn’t always happen in Texas.

Take a peek at this beautiful family of four!

L+S: Engaged

I met Sean and Laura at a Starbucks one day – for a photog/client meeting.

These two are such good hearted people.

Laura is a little shy and super sweet, Sean is silly and chill.

Well, really they are both super chill – which I LOVE.

We racked our brains thinking of places to shoot in Dallas.

Then I mentioned Bishop Arts District – that was IT!

They love this place, it’s special to them… plus it’s super cute!

Sean called when he arrived to tell me that most of the stuff was closed, but it worked in our favor.

We had nearly the whole area to ourselves!

After B.A.D. we ventured over to a special park of theirs.

It was beautiful, they had meaningful moments and it is a place that is dear to their heart.

They brought props that were part of their life: Bible, Chopsticks and Chinese food boxes, Bali book (honeymoon!), and a Scrabble Board.

It was pretty fun incorporating their ‘life’ into the shoot! 🙂

They are both involved in the Seminary… and have such a love for God – it’s really beautiful.

How lucky for Laura – to be marrying a true man of God… who will be sure to lead his family well.

You two are so much fun, playful, silly, beautiful, kind and loving.

Congrats you guys – can’t wait for the BIG DAY!!!

.love.

Sean grabbed 7 letters.

I said, “Dd you get any special letters?”

‘NO.’ he said.

Then I read it… HA! 🙂

She is his WHT RICE.

He is her YLW FEVR.

Karin So beautiful! I love how you incorporated all of their props. Swoon over the old truck…I am obsessed with those. ha.November 11, 2011 – 7:45 am

This is one of my cousins.

It was really neat photographing her in OKC!

I remember her, when she was a wee one, basically born with a six pack. (for real)

Now she is a beautiful, funny,  tall, and sweet young WOMAN.

SKY SKY – thanks for enduring – what felt like 100mph winds.

Thanks for also helping on your sister’s session!

You are the BEST “ILLUMINATOR” ever!

.love.

C+C Engaged: Peek

My beautiful cousin… and her handsome fiance.

We traveled up to OKC, OK for these photos – and it was SO worth it.

This park was incredible.

There were many different plants providing unique and stunning backdrops.

Bugs provided glowing bubbles around them.

The subjects, well they were just the perfect focal point within the natural surroundings.

.love.love.love. these two!

As Carly and I were reviewing her photos – we were sitting in the kitchen.

I heard Paul say, “Arden, Arden…” in a concerned voice…

“It’s an earthquake!”

Carly and I stopped… we ALL Froze (all 8 of us – including Pierson), the house was shaking, we heard a rumbling – the EARTH was rumbling.

I got up, with baby E in my arms… and didn’t know what to do.

Was it bad? Were we okay…  ?

It probably lasted 45 seconds or so.

We were okay and luckily everything was okay.

We looked up and the chandeliers were swinging from side to side.

It sure was surreal, being in an earthquake – of 5.6 magnitude only 44 miles from the epicenter… IN OKLAHOMA!

Something we surely won’t forget. 🙂

I think this is our FOURTH shoot together, what an honor.
