It started out with my vision.  To be able to capture people living their life, a tad more elegantly, while I am there with my camera.  I held a contest for a FREE E-session through my FB page – the rules were simple:

a. you had to be engaged

b. you had to theme your shoot based on the things you two love to do (and send me a write up of your session)

My point in doing so?  I want to steer away from the typical locations, the typical ideas, the typical photo – for myself, for my work, for my art, for my clients.  Utilizing their brains, ideas, & creativity can add a unique perspective and my clients will be able to own their photos.

Why not make it about YOU?  I want my work to represent both of US… not just ME.

So, Tristan and Matt wrote me an energetic and sweet letter (see bottom of post).  Describing their passions.  Explaining their places.  Telling me their ideas.  I was excited just reading it.  They chose the Bishop Arts District and Belmont Hotel – two places they frequent.  Both locations are unique, fun, romantic, sexy, and colorful!  Tristan had her hair and make-up done (recommended), shopped around for perefect outfits, and purchased little props for this session.  Photos are an investment and will be passed down through generations.  Why not make them YOUR OWN?
