Arden Prucha Photography bio picture
  • HI! I am Arden Prucha Jenkins - a photographer located in Fort Worth, Texas! I specialize in portraiture and more recently weddings! Please take a look around and get to know my work, my style, my life, and me.

How did I get into photography? Well, everyone has their story right? Looking back I realize that the little photog was in me all along, without even knowing it! I picked up a camera when I was around 8 and started snapping photos - I even posed my neighbors, animals, and Barbies for photos (seriously I made a Barbie wedding and photographed the entire thing).

Who am I? Well, I was a teacher for three years, but was able to leave that job to focus on photography and my two beautiful children!  I married a man who I am totally smitten over and he is crazy supportive of me.  I am a bargain shopper with expensive taste.  God allows me to trust this world with less fear and more hope and trust.  Music makes my heart flutter - so thankfully I married a very talented musician. I wish I could carry a tune, but unfortunately I cannot. My favorite month is October (dreamy light) and I miss my convertible - oh the beautiful wind .  When I was little I was amazingly or perhaps annoyingly hyper - and ate more food than all of the boys and was faster than most of them too.  I was a dancer and I love to write and converse.  When I am around people I get more energy and become alive. The differences between women and men intrigue me and kiddos make my heart melt. Photos... well, they fill my heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy what you see.

Katherine+Aaron Peek

Look at these two – Katherine and Aaron are simply gorgeous.

This wedding was TOO COOL!  Keep an eye out for the full post…

I know some people are against “First Looks” prior to the ceremony, but check out this adorable and super special moment!  Private, adorable, sweet, joyful, and LOVELOVELOVE

Emily Tate I am a huge fan of “First Looks” at weddings. I used to work with a videographer and we always recommended them. It really lets the couple get to share a special moment they’ll always remember before the whirlwind of activity sets in and everything becomes a blur. It also allows you to do 99% of the pictures before the ceremony so the reception can get started faster!

Not that I need to convince you….. 🙂April 26, 2010 – 12:07 pm

Savannah & Shane Patrick

Meet six year old twins Savannah and Shane Patrick.  I met this family years ago prior to the birth of these sweetie pies.  We had a lot of fun tromping around Trinity Park with wild flowers, ducks, cheerios, a few ‘Ring Around the Rosies,’ The Cat in the Hat, and pinwheels.  These two are two peas in a pod and love to goof off… what better way to be a kiddo?  Linda is such a great mom and has raised these two right.  They were reading like rockstars, are polite, and have great senses of humor.  I know, I am talking about ‘them’ like they are ONE, but they really are both fabulous kids.

Love – Smooches – Laughter, doesn’t get much better than that.

Sticks make good swords, wands, weapons, play toys.

I think this is one of my favorites… simple, sweet, stunning!

I saw Mommy and Savannah having a sweet moment…

The beautiful S+SP+Mommy!

FW Sings for Haiti

When my friend Cliff asked if I wanted to be a part of “Fort Worth Sings for Haiti,” I was so pumped!  This concert was put on to raise money for the Haitian earthquake and devastation… for the victims, for the families who are still homeless and injured, for those who are STILL in need.  100% of the proceeds went to Doctors Without Borders.  I was able to work with some really wonderful people… Mr. Christopher Lenzini was the organizer of this event and working with him I realized what a fun, down to earth, and thoughtful man he is.  There was a large ‘behind the scenes’ crew that made this entire day possible.  People worked together to gather donations, auction for goods/services, bands, food, speakers, funding, volunteers,  beverages, locations, etc.  This day was a lot of fun and the best part is that a community came together for the good of another community in need… far far away.  If we cannot help out fellow man, then what good is being one?  I am so thankful to be a part of this community of selfless and fantastic people.  We did SING FOR HAITI!

From the Fort Worth Sings for Haiti Page:

Sing – Verb (used without object)
Slang. To confess or act as an informer

“To inform, bring together and encourage the Fort Worth community to use its collective gifts, talents and abilities to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by the earthquake in Haiti”
Fort Worth Sings for Haiti is a one-day (noon-10pm) benefit concert and family festival presented by Classic Chevrolet on Saturday March 27, 2010 at Magonlia Green Park.
Fort Worth Sings will donate 100% of all profits gained from the auction, raffle, food/beverage sales and donation boxes will directly benefit the Doctors Without Borders rebuilding efforts in Haiti.

My favorite: Christopher Lenzini… creator and a lot of the brains behind this big day!
