Our Easter weekend was a little hectic (leading up to as well). We have done a lot more socializing and I have been working (shooting/editing) a lot as well. Saturday night rolls around and we had still not decorated the eggs I boiled on Friday (thinking I was going to get things done early). After a dinner at friends on Saturday we arrived home at 8pm and decided that dying eggs wasn’t happenin’ so we brought out the trusty supply of colorful Sharpies! The eggs were moist from the humid air meeting the cold egg, but we decorated away. We decided that Easter Bunnies ONLY hide DECORATED eggs and he totally did! It is nice getting some one on one time with Pierson. Parx slept through Santa and the Easter Bunny, so Pierson got us all to himself once again!
Pierson wanted me to decorate an egg with my 3-Ps… Paul scratching his head, Pierson riding his scooter, and Parx chilling in her excersaucer (other side of egg)…

This was my bass guitar + camera = LOVE egg. Cheesy, but oh so right! My guy is a stellar bass player.

This is Nutty Paul telling Pierson that there are some eggs around. “WHERE ARE THEY???”
Oh checking out the goods. He is obsessed with candy and sugar.

Now onto our neighbors. I can’t even tell you how fortunate we are to have a very fun set of neighbors. If you drive down our street around 3-5pm you will surely see a few of us out… drinking wine, sipping a beer, kiddos playing, grilling out sausage, throwing the football, and just enjoying each other’s company. We have a GREAT group here!

Pierson and Virginia are two birds of a feather.
Little Miss P(arx) is 5 months already and her eyes are killer!
Virginia singing ‘Twinkle Twinkle” and notice the next three images of her fans 🙂

My son is extremely clumsy and needed stitches last week, we settled for steri-strips and they fell off too soon.

All of these images were shot with my Markii along with my 50mm on f/1.4 the entire time.
I wanted to post a couple of photos that show some basic editing, but make a photo so much prettier! Notice my husband’s non existent bags in the ‘edit?’ Yes my friends I NEVER have horrendous bags in posted photos, only in person 🙂 I also did some level enhancements, extra contrast, and a soft light layer with a slight color to it… I love love love this fella, bags and all… after-all WE won’t have bags EVER if I have anything to do with it 🙂
Now my Little Miss P… I took out her face scratches (dang those baby nails) and did a basic edit with level adjustments, slight sharpening, a little edge burn, and a nice soft light layer… badabing, badaboom. Much better than the ‘straight out of camera’ shot ay?
