Arden Prucha Photography bio picture
  • HI! I am Arden Prucha Jenkins - a photographer located in Fort Worth, Texas! I specialize in portraiture and more recently weddings! Please take a look around and get to know my work, my style, my life, and me.

How did I get into photography? Well, everyone has their story right? Looking back I realize that the little photog was in me all along, without even knowing it! I picked up a camera when I was around 8 and started snapping photos - I even posed my neighbors, animals, and Barbies for photos (seriously I made a Barbie wedding and photographed the entire thing).

Who am I? Well, I was a teacher for three years, but was able to leave that job to focus on photography and my two beautiful children!  I married a man who I am totally smitten over and he is crazy supportive of me.  I am a bargain shopper with expensive taste.  God allows me to trust this world with less fear and more hope and trust.  Music makes my heart flutter - so thankfully I married a very talented musician. I wish I could carry a tune, but unfortunately I cannot. My favorite month is October (dreamy light) and I miss my convertible - oh the beautiful wind .  When I was little I was amazingly or perhaps annoyingly hyper - and ate more food than all of the boys and was faster than most of them too.  I was a dancer and I love to write and converse.  When I am around people I get more energy and become alive. The differences between women and men intrigue me and kiddos make my heart melt. Photos... well, they fill my heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy what you see.

D+L: Engaged

I met Darien when I was a brace face and unable to drive!

When he asked me to photograph he and his, soon to be, bride – I was thrilled.

He and Laurie, are a lot like P and me. The enjoy dining out at yummy FW eateries, love the local music scene and shopping!

Getting to know them has been a lot of fun and I am really excited for their wedding – it is going to be amazing!

D had his dad drive in their vintage truck, to incorporate in their images…

We also photographed them in an area they frequent; making the images more meaningful and ‘them.’

These two are trendy, cool, kind, goofy, beautiful and stylish – what more can you ask for?

L+D… thank you for allowing me to be a big part of your session…

Thank you for all of your dedication and creativity, and trust.

Looking forward to seeing you two as a gorgeous bride and groom.

.love.

Amy M. Arden! Great engagement photos! I love them! Where the ones of them holding books taken in a book-store or somewhere personal…cause I totally recognized her “live forever” book and that’s not typically a book you see in a book store very much. I love how you made the session so personal to them. I’d only dream of having pics like this for my hubby and I. 😉October 24, 2011 – 12:42 pm

Caram Family

Freddie, Emily and little Will.

A beautiful and fun family of three.

We met at the TCU campus, as Emily is a Horned Frog – then finished off at a local park.

Freddie, it looks as though Will is super comfy around purple and white!

Not sure the Red Raiders can compete? 🙂

Will was a doll and gave us some spectacular smiles – and made us all sweat a little.

I hope you enjoy this lovely family!

Thank you Emily – for trusting me to capture a very special and intimate time in your lives!

.love.

Senter Maternity: Peek

Oh the wind was blowblowblowing.

I couldn’t help – but to laugh A LOT… throughout the session…

because Jayce, the beautiful mama to be, was so patient, easy going and beautiful as her hair kept whipping her in the face.

She is such a wonderful person.

IHF Tickled Pink

I haven’t entered I Heart Faces‘ weekly contests in a while.

I don’t know why! Could it have been pregnancy and birhting number THREE!?! 🙂

Well, when I saw the ‘tickled pink’ challenge this week and I knew I had to enter this photo.

You see, I turned 30 a few weeks ago and this lovely left-over balloon was slowly losing helium.

One morning it just magically floated around the kitchen.

Here is sweet Parx – chasing the magic!

Be sure to check out all of the entries: HERE

Jo I love everything about this. The lighting, the angle, her ruffled top, and the story the picture tells…October 19, 2011 – 9:12 am

Lea Great angle, sweet moment captured.October 17, 2011 – 12:30 pm
