These kiddos were none too happy that I was taking a gazillion photos of them, until… I pulled out Santa Pez, Tootsie Pops, and chocolate! I know how to bribe kiddos all too well 🙂 Look at how cute they are.

I cannot even begin to tell you how fast the year flew by for me. A wedding, a new home, a new job, a new baby, ahhh… sounds exhausting huh? My sister is quite good at snapping photos so, we decided to take some photos for Christmas at a nearby park. It was quite chilly and very overcast, but the fall/winter colors are outstanding. I have fallen in love with lots and lots of color in photos, hence the pops from our clothing and accessories.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and peaceful break. You guys mean so much to me and I wouldn’t be able to continue my photography without you. Thank you for the constant support, love, encouragement, and visits. I pray that this new year will be full of blessings, FUN, love, and peace for each of you. Don’t forget I love it when you guys comment on these posts, so feel free!!! 😉

This is my favorite shot of the day and completely candid.

Outtake! It looks as if Paul is holding Parker for dear life.

My silly husband…

The beauty of late fall here in Fort Worth, Texas. Have a Happy Christmas and New Year!

Every time I look at another shoot I think “this one is my absolute favorite” and then … you do another shoot! They’re all so terrific! You have a gift! I love the one of all 4 of you with your heads in a square, just precious!December 28, 2009 – 3:20 pm

Paul & Arden:
OMG, I don’t know which one is my favorite! I love them ALL! You just have an eye for capturing “the moment” that is sooo awesome! I love the one with all four of you on the ground, the one of Paul holding Parker, the one of Violet by herself, the one of Pierson (black and white)with the tree in the background….he looks angelic. They are all beautiful and your sister’s are all great as well. Their little boy is beautiful, just like Violet. I wish we were there! I miss ya’ll and love you so much! What a wonderful Christmas present. I am going to print them all and get frames. I am going to have to dedicate a wall in the house to photos of family. Thanks again for sharing them with us.
Love you much!

Oh, and your sis’s family looks like so much fun also. Little miss Violet is a model!December 19, 2009 – 3:33 pm
These are awesome! All the kiddos are such dolls in their own ways. Very beautiful shoot, love all the leaves and colors! My fave pic is the one of you 4 laying down. It’s too cute, looks like little miss Parker can do what all of you are doing on her own and yall all look so alike 🙂 Very very cute.December 19, 2009 – 3:32 pm
I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to capture the beauty of an expectant mother and our Texas fall. Enjoy the peek of Megan, John, and her sweet belly!

Cassie is a super duper talented Graphic Artist who I met through some mutual friends. I adore her urban vintage flare. Her home is decked out in new and old decor with TONS of color. As you can see from this session peek, she has a great sense of style. Her daughter Merrill did such an excellent job – it was quite cold and she didn’t complain once and followed directions exquisitely! Her green feather is very “Cindy Lou Who” from Dr. Suess!

You are on a plane, where are you headed: somewhere with a beach !!! (mexico)
If there is one thing in life you could do what would it be: bring world Peace
I had a little too much fun learning how to put photos in motion! She had fun showing me her skipping skills… I had the idea to do this after I shot the photos and scrolled through on my camera – voila she was “skipping” in those rad boots!

See… too much fun!

Love love love the movement and feel!

Arms (and legs) that go on for days – look at that sculpting!

I am in love with the softness of this image.
Now with a little bit of edgier color…
You would never know in the last images that it was probably around 50 degrees. Regan pulled these off beautifully, easily, and playfully. Enjoy the rest of High School Regan!
