I love the pull backs Arden! They are so fun to look at!March 4, 2011 – 3:00 pm
I love this post. It’s one of the best tutorials on newborns I’ve seen yet. Thanks, yet again!
Would you say your 24-70 is your newborn lens? Mine is the 50 1.4 but anytime I need the zoom and wider angle I love my 24-70.March 4, 2011 – 11:42 am

Great post Arden! I love seeing the behind the scenes pictures of you! You sure do have a way with those newborns and it shows in the finished product 🙂March 4, 2011 – 9:13 am
Oh my word. The one of the little guy in the ballglove … that boy BETTER play baseball after that! All of the finished photos are incredible, and I love the behind the scenes shots, too. Sweet, sweet babies…March 4, 2011 – 9:11 am
Love this Arden! I wish I looked as adorable as you when I shoot! I’m trying to figure out a way to lug all my stuff around!! I’ve just been throwing it all in large trash bags (so ghetto) I like the idea of using suitcases!March 4, 2011 – 9:11 am
Is that your 24-70 lens in these shots? I think these posts are great for people to realize all the effort that goes on behind the scenes to get the great shots! Nice work. (BYW, I love how fun you are with nail polish!)July 22, 2011 – 3:20 pm

This isn’t super detailed step by step, but will provide enough information to know what I did. Here is the original untouched shot (better known as SOOC – straight out of the camera): Honestly? It looks pretty good, but ME? Well, I love a nice […]

Love this…thank you so much!February 22, 2011 – 9:49 am
Great post! Love the final product! So, when I shoot newborns I usually shoot at the family’s home. I have a ton of stuff I bring and honestly it would be easy to shoot at my home, but I’d hate making new mommies get out and about too soon. I bring stuff like: props, blankets, light stands, soft box, umbrella/blash, backdrop […]

Wonderful tips!!! I love all these shots!February 13, 2011 – 10:50 am
this is great Arden 🙂 I’m starting to love newborn shoots! I’ve been using a bean bag – I wonder if I’ll like using a boppy instead… I like the bean bag, b/c I shape it to how deep I want baby to go into the blanket, but I think I’ll try out a boppy! Tell me where you get some good clamps. I got some Home Depot but I’m too weak to use them! ha!March 4, 2011 – 12:02 am
